Cabin on the point

Today I painted outside with members of the Poulsbo Art League. We met at an old cabin on the edge of Dye's Inlet on a partly cloudy afternoon. Nice to be with other watercolorists.

Cell phone office

Who needs an office? This guy seems to be doing all his business by cell phone from a chair in Starbucks.

Play ball!

Our new house is just across the street from a baseball field. It's for real small kids, and there's lots of energy and excitement. I made this sketch this evening.

Brenerton Symphony bassist

At today's dress rehearsal for tonight's concert with the Bremerton Symphony Chorale, I made this sketch of the first bassist. She shows great strength in her face and in her command of the instrument. The Chorale is singing "A German Requiem" by Brahms, "one of the greatest accomplishments of the human spirit," according to our conductor.

Tracyton Public House

The other day I put in new flooring in Katy's office. At 1:00 PM I took a break and got a hamburger and coffee at the Tracyton Public House, about five blocks away from our house. I made this sketch of the pub regulars.
