Irrigation ditch

I'm visiting my mother in Southeastern Colorado. This afternoon, after cleaning up her flower beds, I drove into the country. There are irrigation ditches for the fields, and they are lovely ribbons of water with giant cottonwood trees at intervals. I made this ketch of an irrigation ditch with a big cottonwood.
